The Social Norms in Cuba

If you are getting a Cuba Holiday for your holiday break, you might as well study some of the social norms for the Cubans so that you won’t be having any cultural shock once you are there. You should know that, like most of us, the Cubans take handshake as a normal form of greeting.

They usually address each other as compaƱero, but as a visitor you should address them as seƱor or seƱora. It is also normal for the Cuban men to not wear shorts whenever they are not at the beach. You may do so if you can live with some sideways glances.

The Cubans usually get around in cars and busses but if that is inconvenient to you, you may book a Cuba Tour. You may also reserve your Cuba Hotel on the Internet to avoid any disappointment when you arrive in the island.
